Shooting At Lil Wayne’s Miami House “A Hoax,” Police Say

UPDATE #3: Police have left the scene and officially deemed the entire incident a “hoax.”

A shooting took place at Lil Wayne’s Miami Beach residence Wednesday (March 11) afternoon, ABC’s Miami affiliate WSVN 7 News reports.

Police responded to the scene at 94 Lagorce Circle, after 911 was called due to gun shots being fired within the vicinity.

Another report says four people were shot at the residence.

It’s unclear whether Lil Wayne was in the house when the incident occurred.

According to WSVN 7 News, police have enclosed the house, which is completely surrounded by water on La Gorce island.

Online real estate database Zillow lists Wayne’s abode as a three-level, 9 bedroom, 10 bathroom, 15,000 square-foot estate.
