Floyd Mayweather Jr. Vs. Manny Pacquiao Fight Will Cost $100 On Pay-Per-View
Boxing fans can get ready to get gouged when they purchase the May 2nd Manny Pacquiao vs. Floyd Mayweather Jr. fight. The fight which will be boxing’s equivalent of the Super Bowl will cost $99 for high definition and $89 for standard pay-per-view, according to the Wall Street Journal.
The price breaks the previous pay-per-view record of high of $74.95 for high-definition and $64.95 for standard.
HBO and Showtime are co-promoting the event. It will be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. The MGM has barred any other Vegas hotels from showing the fight, ensuring a packed house full of gamblers with deep pockets.
