PLUS SIZED Barbie Film?!

Columbia Pictures ain’t playing with nobody – they’re trying to keep it real! In a world where everyone obviously isn’t skinny or ‘picture perfect’, none other than Amy Schumer is here to remind us that you don’t have to be small, scrawny, bony or slender in order to be happy or enjoy life.

While Barbie is typically animated on the big screen this project will be a live-action comedy. YES! Despite how explicit Amy’s humor can be, this film will be rated PG and is slated to premiere some time in 2018.

The search is on for a director of the flick but Amy Pascal, Laurie MacDonald and Walter F. Parkes are signed on to produce the film surrounding the iconic blonde toy.

I did a little digging to see what the film was going to be about and I found this:

What ya’ll think? Is Amy Schumer the ideal Barbie Girl..in a Barbie World?? (That line was totally unavoidable, lol).
