TMZ reports that Gucci Mane was released from a federal penitentiary Thursday, May 26. He’d been locked up since September 13, 2013.

The rapper, real name Radric Davis, cut a plea deal and on May 13, 2014, pleaded guilty to possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. His release date was set for September 2016, but he got credit for time served.
